Peter Belmonte departed his corporate career in management and joined his father with the company in 1985.
Peter is the President of Belmonte Builders. Besides executive management tasks, his role in the company includes: Sales, land acquisition and future community development.
Pete obtained an Engineering Degree from Clarkson University.
Vice President of Customer Relations
Lindsey joined the Belmonte Team in 2013. She is an award-winning kitchen designer and an accomplished Project Coordinator with over a decade of experience. She brings a lifelong passion for her family business along with a strong desire to provide the highest quality service to each customer.
Lindsey has a Bachelor of Fine Arts as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Sage College of Albany.
Chief Financial Officer
Michele Brown is the Controller at Belmonte Builders; she has been here since 1993 and is responsible for all business functions.
Michele received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Siena College.
The professional organizations that she is involved in include: CRBRA, NAHB, Professional Women in Building and the Southern Saratoga Chamber of Commerce.
Tom DeFilippis is our Construction Manager; he joined our team in 2010 as a Site Supervisor.
Tom brings with him over 20 years of experience from prior construction jobs.
Tom manages all of our sites as well as the Warranty and Home Solutions divisions.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Mike Lust joined Belmonte Builders in 2017. He is responsible for our sales staff along with our outside sales team. Mike also works directly with our sales force in selling the homes. He is in charge of all marketing, sales literature and signage.
Prior to entering the home building industry over 25 years ago, Lust graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in business administration and worked in sales management in corporate America.
Chris Adams joined Belmonte Builders in 2018. He provides production drawings and artwork for our Portfolio Homes. Chris obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Montana State University.
Warranty and Special Projects Personnel
Michael Angelo joined Belmonte Builders in 2019. He came to us with many years of experience in residential construction and a breadth of knowledge.
Joe Backowski joined Belmonte Builders in 2013. Joe is one of our Site Supervisors; he oversees the field operations crew and all activities of the sites he manages.
Estimating and Purchasing
Mark Beaulac leads our estimating and purchasing department. He has over 30 years of experience in all facets of the construction industry. Mark has been working with Belmonte Builders since 1998.
Accounts Payable/Warranty Coordinator
Jennifer joined Belmonte Builders in August of 2014. She is responsible for accounts payable along with coordinating all warranty claims
Real Estate Broker
Sharon Byrne has been a broker with Belmonte Builders for 30 years and she has also been an agent with Realty USA for 30 years. She specializes in new construction. Sharon has six children and lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband.
Julie DeRossi joined the Belmonte team in 2018. As a Job Coordinator, Julie is the direct liaison for the customers between all entities, from signed contract to home completion. She is responsible for all selections as well as any modifications made to the home. She diligently assists our clients in getting through the pre-construction and construction process. Julie received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Minor in Theatre Arts from Rutgers University.
Cindy Fisher joined the Belmonte team in 2017 as the Community Sales Manager of Griffin’s Ridge. Prior to coming to Belmonte she was involved in real estate sales. When she is not on site at Griffin’s Ridge selling stunning Belmonte homes she is an avid outdoor enthusiast.
Doug Godfrey is our Designer and has been with the Belmonte team since 2002.
As the Designer, he provides production drawings, artwork for new homes. In addition, he also participates in sales meetings with customers to provide his design expertise when needed.
Doug obtained his Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology from Onondaga Community College.
Ken Madigan joined the Belmonte team in 2013. He is one of our field personnel who can often be found at any one of our construction sites. Ken obtained his Construction Certificate from Hudson Valley Community College.
Estimating and Purchasing
Gene Miller joined our team in early 2014. He is part of our Estimating and Purchasing team. Gene’s formal education is from Three Rivers Community College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering. His trade experiences include carpentry, stone masonry, and structural engineering.
Marc Phelps has been with Belmonte Builders since 2016. Marc is one of our Site Supervisors; he oversees the field operations crew and all activities of the sites he manages.
Rob Rothschild joined Belmonte Builders in sales in the Fall of 2013 for our affordable luxury line of homes at The Mill at Smith Bridge development in Wilton, New York. He has been involved in real estate sales, investment and finance for over 20 years. Rob has a degree in business management from Skidmore College.
Chuck Sargent is a master specialty trim carpenter and has been with Belmonte since 2012.
John Speanburg has been with Belmonte Builders since 2006. John is one of our Site Supervisors; he oversees the field operations crew and all activities of the sites he manages.
Tina Stanoski joined Belmonte Builders as the Community Sales Manager of Alexandria in 2017. Tina has a Bachelor of Science Public Administration from Russell Sage College. She has been in sales for most of her career and is a Licensed Real Estate Agent.
Staff Accountant/Closing Coordinator
Barb Wood joined the Belmonte Builders team in 2009. She is the bookkeeper at our Administrative office. Barb attended Hudson Valley Community College.
Barb is an advocate for fundraising for the area’s less fortunate children and is on the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Chamber Angels Board.
