Bowman Orchards has been around for over 100 years. It was first owned by Elizabeth Shepherd, the sister of John Macintosh, and the man the macintosh apple is named after. Needless to say, they know a thing or two about apples.
Since then, the space as certainly been built up, making for one of the largest and best apple picking experiences around. You can pick 46 varieties of apples across 98 acres of trees. When you’re done, the farm also features pony ride, a kid’s playground area and hay rides for the whole family. There’s also the “Honeycrisp 500”, a pedal car track sure to tire out the little ones just in time for the drive home.
